| Some Words: The Beneficiary - EPA S.A in cooperation with the Mediterranean SOS Network, the Municipalities of Elefsina and Aspropyrgos, the Prefectural authority of Western Attica,the Laboratory of Urban Environment of the national Technical University of Athens and FEPORTS materialise the 3 year European Project 'Collaborative environmental Regeneration of Port - Cities: Elefsina Bay 2020'. An important contribution for the fulfilment of the project will be its co-financing from the industries of the area TITAN, Xalyvourgiki and Hellenic Shipyards. |

| 1) Deliberative Community Visioning (DCV) and Stakeholders; Committee |
| Synopsis: 1. 'DCV Process Plan'. Document agrred by committee including details of prject design, events to be held, people to be invited, sub-committees and organisational structure for the DCV process.
2. Establishment and operation of the Elefsina 2020 Neighbourhood Committee.
3. The Neighbourhood Committee has had 5 meetings (18/11/2005, 21/02/2006, 20/03,2006, 07/06/2006, 06/07/2006) in order to discuss all the pilot urban regeneration tasks related to the project. The Committee developed a participatory process that has not been in effect ever before.

| 2) Dissemination and Transfer of Knowledge |
| Synopsis: 1. Leaflets produced and posters placed in central places in Elefsina on March 2006.
2. Website operational on January 2007.
3. Training workshop on matters of environmental management of ports at Elefsina on February 2007 and at Valencia on April 2007. |
| 3) Environmental Management of the Port of Elefsina |
| Synopsis: 1. Launch of Operation of environmental Division on November 2005.
2. Visit of EPA's Environmental division staff to APV facilities on May 2006.
3. Public presentation of Diagnosis and Environmental Management System for the port of Elefsina on May 2007.
4. EMAS certification ceremony, public presentation and press conference on May 2008.
5. Founding of company or other form of partnership for the implementation/certification of the ECOPORT-EMAS scheme in Greece and South-Eastern Europe on September 2008. |
| 4) Monitoring System for the Transportation of hazardous Loads |
| Synopsis: 1. Installation of AIS on pilot vessels and trucks on March 2006.
2. Installation of base stations on June 2006.
3. Commencement of pilot operation of the system and the database on October 2006
4. Launching of feasibility study on June 2008.
5. Completion of feasibility study and report on experience on June 2008 |
| 5) Pilot Urban Environmental Regeneration Project |
| Synopsis: 1. Launching Meeting and recommendations of the Neighbourhood Committee on November 2005.

4. Commencement of construction works on April 2006.

| Synopsis: 1. 1st partners project meeting at the beneficiary's premises in Elefsina city on 17-18/11/2005.
